That's why we didn't go the usual route of creating an "easy going" freemove board and then trying to implement as much classic wave and freestyle skills into the shape. Instead, we went the other way around. In other words, the basis of the development was a potent new school freestyle board, which automatically led to maximum acceleration and pop.  This shape was then tuned so that it also functions as a capable wave board in logo-high side-on waves. For the ULTRA FreeWave to work in side-on wave conditions, it had to become crisp and direct plus truly work with a tri-fin setup.  Now let's see what are the key ingredients of a great Bump&Jump Freemove board?
